ANDREW PEREZ

Andrew Perez is a graduate of Northwestern University and the School at Steppenwolf in Chicago, where his theatre credits include Sonia Flew at Steppenwolf Theatre, Hecuba at Chicago Shakespeare, and Of Mice And Men at Steep Theatre. LA Theatre credits include Mercury Fur at needtheater & Darren Lyn Bousman’s immersive The Tension Experience: ASCENSION.

Andrew also studied playwriting at Northwestern, where his first plays Spiderman Versus Batman, I Am Kinski, and a new adaptation of A Clockwork Orange (C.I.R.A. Grant recipient) received full productions. Bastards y Diablos, a feature film Andrew wrote and starred in, premiered in competition at the 2015 Los Angeles Film Festival and has won numerous awards at Ashland Independent Film Festival, Durango Independent Film Festival, & Port Townsend Film Festival. He spent the first two months of 2017 in Port Townsend, Washington working on a screenplay as the 2017 PTFF Film Fellow, during which he acted onstage as KJ in Annie Baker’s The Aliens at Key City Public Theater.

Andrew can now be seen as Scientology leader David Miscavige in My Scientology Movie, which was recently released by Magnolia Pictures and available on Netflix. / Visit andrewperezactor.com

ERIC G. JOHNSON

Eric G. Johnson (director/producer) has admired the films of Werner Herzog and Klaus Kinski since studying Herzog’s films at UC Santa Cruz 30 years ago. He’s even made a pilgrimage to Aguirre and Fitzcarraldo locations in the Amazon, where the wrath of Kinski lives on alongside other, more ancient, oral traditions.

Eric’s other directing/producing projects with WTFN include the world premier of Starfucking at the 2015 Hollywood Fringe Festival (Encore Producer’s Award winner) and West Coast premier of the short play Hijab for the 2016 Hollywood Short+Sweet Theater Festival.

Eric is currently a producer on the feature films Fly On The Wall and Bastards y Diablos (premiered at 2015 Los Angeles Film Festival). He also wrote, directed and produced the film Tweek City which was distributed around the world by Maverick Entertainment.

Adele is thrilled to again be working with Andrew Perez, whom she coached for his highly-acclaimed role in My Scientology Movie. Adele Cabot is the Founder and Head of LAvoiceJOY studio (www.lavoicejoy.com) where she coaches theatre, film, and television actors in (speaking) voice, for roles in biopics, and in dialects – especially General America with actors from all over the world. She has coached actors for roles at: The Broadhurst (Broadway), The Geffen, The Mark Taper, The Broad Stage, South Coast Rep, The Kirk Douglass Theatre, Shakespeare & Co., Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Co, A Noise Within, Actor’s Gang, and more. She taught and acted at the famous Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in London, taught Voice and Shakespeare at the Shanghai Theatre School in China, Univ of MD, Voice and Speech at UCLA’s School of Theatre Film, & Television for 7 years, and she was the Voice and Speech Consultant at Arena Stage in Washington DC for 5 years. She has also worked on numerous television shows and films.
